San Joaquín - El Salvador
San Joaquin is a natural bourbon from a farm that has been owned by the Pacas family for over 100 years. It's a place that has taught generations of family members to work the land, respect the environment, and love the coffee it produces.
Located in one of El Salvador's most important coffee regions, San Joaquin is adorably nicknamed “the farm of the morning sun” by the community. San Joaquin does not receive natural light until before noon, which creates exceptional slow-growing conditions allowing the cherries to ripen and develop complex aromas. The coffee plants are surrounded by a natural cypress forest which adds to the idyllic conditions, not only for the coffee plants, but also for many endangered mammals, birds and reptiles.
Slow-ripening cherries and natural processing combine to create a sweet, fruity cup with malic acidity. With over 100 years and five generations of experience, you can always count on the Pacas family to deliver memorable coffee. A San Joaquin you won't soon forget!
