Pilot is very pleased to introduce a new direct business partner. Julian Valenzuela operates a small, immaculate farm in Paicol, Huila, Colombia. It is located a few hectares from the finca Las Palmas, operated by their dear friend, Chalo Fernandez. Chalo's passion and support for his community is unwavering. It helps neighboring farms, like El Vesuvio, produce exceptional coffees, from harvest to grinding.

Although this is El Vesuvio's first single origin coffee, it has already played a flavorful role in our blend Community, where the Chalo coffee growing community is represented. This is a wonderfully clean and balanced cup that deserves to be presented on a stage in its own right.
