Its non-porous and heat-resistant glass construction, combined with exclusive and scientifically designed filters, produces a clear and complex coffee.

In fact, it is the filters that are the star of the Chemex. They are 20 to 30% heavier than other filters and remove the finest sediment particles. The filter design facilitates proper brewing time by regulating the filtration rate - approximately 4 minutes of brewing

A word of warning: As the filters are made of heavy paper, they should be rinsed thoroughly with hot water before brewing to remove any taste of paper.
