New times

What if, in order to change the world, we had to start by re-enchanting our relationship to time?
 
We often feel as though we are enduring time, as if it were some capricious and relentless force beyond our control. Time disappears in the best moments and weighs with all its weight in the worst. Linear and fleeting, it seems to pull us along in its wake, as the present moment is often beyond our reach - and barely created, our memories are already starting to erode.
 
However, there are other ways of experiencing time; other rhythms, other tendencies, other pulsations. The terms "fast" and "slow" cannot by themselves define its pace. There is the time of seasons and harvests, that of stories and generations, that of rocks and trees, that of rituals and traditions. There is the time we spend bonding, the time we save and the time we waste superbly.
